Mr. Bernstein is a Compliance Officer with the Company. Mr. Bernstein earned his Chartered Accountant (CA) designation and was a partner with Laventhol & Horwath and Price Waterhouse, after its merger with Laventhol & Horwath in 1990. Prior to joining Gluskin Sheff in 1994, Mr. Bernstein was the audit partner serving the Gluskin Sheff account where he was instrumental in developing the Firm’s financial accounting and control systems. In 1994, Mr. Bernstein joined Gluskin Sheff as Chief Financial Officer, and served as that capacity until 2006. Mr. Bernstein recently retired as chair of the Discipline Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario, where he served since 1995.
