Christopher J. Northfield
Managing Director, Credit Trading

Mr. Northfield is a Managing Director, Credit Trading. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Guelph. Mr. Northfield has over 25 years of experience in fixed income sales and trading. Mr. Northfield joined Gluskin Sheff in 2014 through the Firm’s acquisition of Blair Franklin Asset Management. Prior to joining Blair Franklin in 2006, Mr. Northfield was Managing Director in fixed income sales at BMO Capital Markets. Prior thereto, he worked for Salomon Brothers in Toronto where he helped build their fixed income operation. Mr. Northfield also held senior positions at Scotia Capital Markets, where he worked with Peter Zaltz for three years in corporate bond trading before moving into fixed income sales. He has been noted several times as a "Top Gun" in the Brendan Wood Survey as a top fixed income salesperson in Canada.
